Abrasive Wheels/Stihl Saws/Chop Saws

Objective :

To be able to safely use an abrasive wheel. 

To be able to change discs and wheels correctly. 

To maintain equipment to PUWER guidelines within the workplace.

Course Content :

• Duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Safe handling and use of equipment.

• Use of equipment.
• Remove and refit wheels and discs.
• Dressing abrasive wheels.

Who Should Attend :

Anyone using an abrasive wheel and/or responsible for the maintenance of abrasive wheel equipment.

Assessed by qualified staff and certified via G.T.A.
