Abrasive Wheels

Objective :

To be able to safely use an abrasive wheel.  To be able to change discs and wheels correctly.  To maintain equipment to PUWER guidelines within the workplace.

Course Content :

• Duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act
• Safe handling and use of equipment

• Use of equipment
• Remove and refit wheels and discs
• Dressing abrasive wheels

Who Should Attend:

Anyone using an abrasive wheel and/or responsible for the maintenance of abrasive wheel equipment.

Assessed by qualified staff and certified via GTA
