Objective :

Air bag safety devices are becoming an increasingly common fitment, the steering wheel and passenger air bags now being supplemented by door and roof level units.  Knowledge of the system is essential for the technician to operate with a degree of safety.  Accidental deployment is both dangerous and costly with replacement units starting around £250.00.
