FLT Instructor Course
Objective:
To be able to instruct operators to national standards on forklift trucks (HSE AWP L117 Appendix 5). To gain RTITB instructor accreditation status.
Course Content:
> Theory legislation relating to forklift use
> Lesson planning, preparation, delivery
> Theory exam
> Practical exam
General:
The course is largely practical by nature. Delegates must hold either a Counterbalance or Reach operators certificate less than 12 months old. Delegates must have been a certified operator of either truck for at least 6 months to qualify for the course. The course is externally examined.
