LGV Instructor Training
Objective :
- To learn how to instruct learner drivers on LGV vehicles.
- To pass the relevant DSA examinations.
- To become a registered DSA LGV instructor.
Course Content :
- Theory support.
- Driving skills to instructor standard.
- Fault diagnosis and correction.
- Lesson planning.
- Lesson delivery.
- Test preparation.
Who Should Attend :
A person who has held the relevant LGV licence for a minimum of 3 years and wishes to upgrade their skills to be an instructor for other LGV drivers within the DSA (Driving Standards Agency).
Duration :
Dependant on delegates skills and experience.
A free assessment determines duration.
An average course is 8 - 10 days.

The course is always available and dates are subject to the availability of the DSA's Instructor Examiner.
