Lorry Loader Crane (HIAB) Training

 Objective :

To be able to safely operate a lorry mounted crane for loading and unloading vehicles.

Course Content :

Theory

• Safety awareness.
• Lifting and slinging.
• Risk assessment.
• Use of hand signals.

Practical

• Introduction to crane / lorry loader.
• Pre-use inspection.
• Basic operation.
• Slinging and lifting.
• Practical test to RTITB standards.

General :

Anyone using a lorry mounted crane needs to have been sufficiently trained (PUWER 98).

The course is accredited by RTITB.
