Lorry Loader Crane (HIAB) Training

  Objective:

To be able to safely operate a lorry mounted crane for loading and unloading vehicles.

  Course Content:

Theory

>  Safety awareness

>  Lifting and slinging

>  Risk assessment

>  Use of hand signals

Practical

>  Introduction to crane / lorry loader

>  Pre-use inspection

>  Basic operation

>  Slinging and lifting

>  Practical test to RTITB standards

  General:

Anyone using a lorry mounted crane needs to have been sufficiently trained (PUWER 98).

The course is accredited by RTITB.
