  • Safety awareness / duties under HASAWA 74
  • Pre-use inspection
  • Coupling / uncoupling
  • Practical manoeuvring - test

Accredited by RTITB.

Stand alone course approved by HSE, but may not be accepted by CITB schemes.

Duration :

Dependant on delegates skills and experience. 

Novice training 5 days

Conversion training 3 days *

Experienced operator 2 days **

Refresher training (including hire) 1 day

* Conversions from Counterbalance and Reach Trucks only
** Experienced training refers to 80 hours or more experience
