News The Future’s Green Electric vehicles training facility it’s the future. We are in the process of installing new charge bays in time for the arrival of the new Renault electric vehicles into the Training Centre. Electric vehicles are getting better every year and will, with the world resource situation have their time. There are business opportunities to be had, if you’re thinking of up skilling for the new opportunities you may be interested in some of the automotive electrical courses that we offer. The futures not orange it’s green!
Your network needs you. In May this year we received the shock news that the Grimsby Institute who have ‘hosted’ the regional Equality & Diversity network from its inception to its current position (a very respected and growing network) would, due to internal pressure no longer be able to do so. We at Doncaster G.T.A. were approached by Margaret at LSIS to see if we would be willing and able to take on the continuation of the network as the grant given by LSIS has to be through an SFA contract holder. Knowing the value of the network to ourselves and colleagues over the years we have agreed, I am pleased that Alex Baghurst who as part of the changes at Grimsby has now become Pinnacle Training Solutions will be supporting the transition and remaining within the network. Whilst we are very honored to have been offered this role, we are also mindful that it is very much member led and do not wish to make any changes to the current situation. Going forward there will no doubt be some changes due to the political will of the country, these we will tackle through the existing structure of the steering group that is in place. We will need your continued support, your good ideas and your honest feedback,
