Loading Shovel Training

Loading shovels by their nature can be, in the wrong hands, dangerous to work with or near. Everyone involved in the use of a loading shovel should have the appropriate training carried out by a recognised training company and be in possession of a Certificate of Training. A loading shovel is classed as a self-propelled wheeled machine with a front mounted attachment (bucket or forks) which loads or excavates when the loader is driven forwards.

It can lift, transport and discharge all different types of materials. Loading shovels are usually rated with forks and if another attachment is used then the rated capacity of the machine alters and may reduce the lifting capacity.
