Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
This course will prepare you for an emergency situation both in and out of work. Quick decisive reactions and giving effective first aid quickly can and does save lives.
Qualification
In house certificate valid for up to 3 years certified by our trained first aid instructors which meets HSE first aid course certificate guidelines.
What will you learn

Unresponsive and needing either recovery position or CPR & AED use.

Helping a casualty who is: choking/ having a seizure/ bleeding heavily/suffering from shock/has a burn.

How to assess and monitor a casualty and where to get help.

Accident reporting and recording procedures.

Control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH).

Dealing with electrical incidents.

Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries (including small cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns and scalds, small splinters).
